Conferences

ACS National biennial conferences

Every two years the American Cetacean Society organizes a conference on the US West coast where scientists present their latest findings. In some ways it is like a smaller and more intimate version of the SMM conferences which gives everyone a chance to interact more easily. In 2002 ACS/PS hosted the conference, The Culture of Whales, in Seattle's historic Town Hall. For information on current conferences, see the ACS National website.

Society of Marine Mammology biennial conferences

Several ACS/PS members usually attend the SMM biennial conferences. Also see the SMM website
